Reconstruction and Improvement of

the North – South Corridor in

Albania Section Gjirokastra - Tepelene

The final design involves two highway bridges of reinforced and prestressed concrete respectively. The reinforced concrete bridge has five spans and a total length of 60m. The prestressed concrete bridge is 76m long, has three spans and a voided-slab section, while the structure is curved (with a radius of 300m) and has a 7% transverse slope.
