The General Final Design for Holargos Station, has been performed within the framework of the completion of works for Athens Metro extensions towards Peristeri and Ag. Paraskevi. The Station comprises of sections that are constructed either with the method ‘cut and cover’ or with the ‘NATM’ method. The former includes sections that lie on either side of Mesogion Avenue (i.e. Entrances 1, 2 and 3 and the  E/M Equipment Building), while the latter includes sections that lie under Mesogion Avenue (i.e. Transfer Gallery, underground connections between concourse level, platform level and E/M Equipment Building). The simulation of the underground structures incorporated the soil-structure interaction through nonlinear springs.
