The steel structures industrial facilities of the construction company DOMOTECHNIKI S.A. are situated at the district of Lagada in Thessaloniki covering an area of 2,400m2. The building consists of two structures connected together having plan dimensions of 20Χ42m and 20Χ78m. The structural steel skeleton consists of plane trusses of 20m span spaced at 6m intervals and which are simply supported on plane truss-type built-up columns. The adopted structural system exhibits high stiffness and strength characteristics and was realized by a very lightweight structure.
