The printing-press industrial facilities of IRIS S.A. are situated at ‘Tsefliki’, Inofita, Viotia in Greece and constitutes one of the largest facilities of its kind in Europe. The building complex covers an area of 30,000m2 on a 118,000m2 plot. The structure consists of steel frames and diagonal bracing members. The frame spans reach up to 30m without intermediate supports, while the floor slabs are constructed with composite action. The full construction of the project was completed in less than 6 months.
