Euphoria Retreat is a 5 star hotel and spa offering alternative tourism services. The project includes the retrofitting of a semi-finished building complex and additional new buildings for the construction of a modern hotel unit with a capacity of 44 rooms. The project is located in the settlement of Neos Mystras in Laconia, near the archaeological site of Mystras.

The unit includes building complexes with a total area of 7,883 m2 (existing and new), open spaces and a private forest.

Aim of the structural design was the strengthening of the existing Buildings 2 and 3 as well as the design of new structures and amendments for Buildings 1 and 4.

The integration of buildings into the natural environment has led to increased demands for the structural design. The latter, especially for Building 4, led to a structure that acts as a retaining wall for an excavation height of up to 20m.
