The project was realized with the system ‘Build – Operate and Transfer’ by the company SALONICA PARK S.A. The station has a capacity of 528 cars and extends to five storeys below ground level.  The plan dimensions of the station are 108mΧ31m and it is constructed with the cut & cover method. With the exception of the ground floor which consists of R/C slabs and beams, the remaining floors are designed as R/C flat slabs supported by columns only, in order to reduce the distance between floors, thus minimizing excavations.
